New York State alerts

Notify NYC – If you spend time in New York City we encourage you to enroll in Notify NYC to receive official emergency alerts and important information about city services. While you can quickly enroll by sending a simple text message, creating a Notify NYC account or connecting using a social account gives you many more options to fine tune the alert messages. You can add multiple alert locations and select from menu of different types of alert messages.

Notify NYC also has a free mobile app for Apple devices and Android devices.
