10. Emergency Communications

A. Cornell University maintains a variety of communications tools and systems to provide emergency warning to the Cornell community. Activation of elements of the warning system will be decided on by the Incident Commander and/or Incident Management Team based on the specific incident response needs.

1. The Cornell community should understand the various communication channels that may be employed to convey information about a specific campus incident or a change in the University’s operating status. More information can be found at the Emergency Notifications page of the Cornell University Emergency Management web site.
